Tuck Learning Expedition to South Africa, March 2012
For spring break in March 2012, a group of Tuck MBA students visited South Africa on a Learning Expedition coordinated by Tuck's Center for Global Business and Government. The participants, led by Tuck Professor Phillip Stocken, learned about a variety of businesses in South Africa, and explored the concept of South Africa as a gateway to doing business across the entire continent of Africa. The group visited with executives of large multinational corporations representing industries such as banking, energy, retail, mining, and consulting. They also met with organizations with a social impact mission.
